Campsite!!!!

Nicci returned to camp, carrying firewood, for it was night. She set it up in her makeshift firepit, and lit it with her magic.

I trod behind Nicci, constantly looking over my shulder for... Whatever it was that I was supposed to be looking out for.

I sit by the campfire, and begin to take food out of my pack. I take out two apples and six handfuls of berries. I hand half of it to Star, and I eat my half, while staring into the fire.

I grab my half with a shaky hand. At this point, I was getting very paranoid, so I shoved the juice-squirting berries into my pocket and climbed into a tree, getting a scratch from every branch.

Nicci shook her head at her friend, and even laughed a little. She ate her apple and berries slowly, chewing thoughtfully.

Nicci finished eating, and went into the tent, and went to sleep.
